Starting the first Tuesday in August, Global Heartthrob will no longer be re-broadcasting from 8 to 10 p.m. PST.

The show will only air live from 2 to 4 p.m. PST at ksvr.org if you stream and if you are in radio earshot range, 91.7 FM (Skagit Valley, Washington State).

The reasons for discontinuing the re-broadcast are numerous. I would rather do live radio than edit previous shows for re-broadcast.

Starting the first Tuesday in August, Global Heartthrob will no longer be rebroadcasting from 8 to 10 p.m. Pacific Standard time. The show will no longer sound "canned."

There will only be the live show, from 2 to 4 p.m. PST. So this means I can mention upcoming musical events and not concern myself with timeliness.

Stay tune for Vocal Harmonies on next week's show (global polyphony and a cappella music)

The Sound Healing show took a lot of multitasking and I had to keep my eye on the meter more often than usual. Due to various recording techniques and recording spaces, some of the music presented on the show peaked with low volume, while the Gregorian chants had to be pushed up a few notches.

In any case, I hope people and animals received some healing moments during the course of the 2 hour show.

I would like to extend my thanks to Joshua Leeds for the phone interview. And I would like to thank his two colleagues on the "Through A Dog's Ear" project--Pianist Lisa Spector and Veterinarian Susan Wagner.
